Dolf & Issy – San Francisco

Roedolf and Isabel are friends of ours from South Africa. They’ve lived in Bermuda for the last 5 years, but at this very moment they are realizing a life-long dream… A trip around the world! I admire their tenacity to stick to a plan and make this fairy tale come true. At the beginning of their six month sabbatical, they decided to spend a few days with our family.

Their pet name for each other is “friend”… I found this to be true and fitting for their marriage. They are truly friends in love with each other. From the green grass of Crissy fields, to the hustle of the Embarcadero, moments of friendship and lovers in love, were abundant and easy to capture. On California street, the trolley drivers were very forthcoming and contributed to romantic images that takes you back in history. Enjoy these images of love and friendship with me, as we take a brief tour of one of my favorite cities in the world.
