Love is a beautiful thing. Young love has a level of innocence and excitement, which makes it intriguing and joyful to capture.
I was recently fortunate to have a “young love” session with one of my cousins, Philip and his Fiancée, Aletta. I am so glad that he has found his soul mate and I am looking forward to see how their love grows.
I barely ever shoot during the middle of the day, light is much harsher and harder to keep soft and romantic but these two lovebirds can make any light look soft and romantic! We found a great patch of beach along the West Coast. Rocky outcrops combined with shell strewn beaches made for a beautiful backdrop to their young love. At first they were a little shy and giddy, we laughed A LOT – but soon enough, they were comfortable and relaxed in front of my lens. A fairly strong and cold wind were blowing over the ocean and I liked how Philip sheltered Aletta during the session. I also enjoyed seeing Aletta find comfort in Philip’s arms.
I truly enjoyed this session from a personal and professional perspective.
Philip and Aletta.. I wish you just the best going forward. May your marriage shine and may your light touch others, always keep laughing together – Big LOVE!! Mxx
