I always love to have multiple sessions with the same clients. In a way, I start to feel like an extended member of the family. To see how the children grow and develop from one session to the other, is a real privilege.
I met Sara and Jon when William was six months. This cute little young man with his big brown eyes will soon be a big brother and I loved capturing his beautiful mom and family before the big arrival of baby.
Maternity family sessions is extra special as the arrival of a new family member is always something bittersweet! The Elizabeth Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto is always so beautiful and I met the family early morning to do our photo session.
Jon and Sara were both doctors at Stanford, but they are moving back home to Maryland. The session was sort of a parting gift to themselves for leaving the Bay Area. Their maternity shoot was therefore maybe the last session of them as a family of three. William will make such a great big brother and seems excited about his new brother.
Jon, Sara and William, thank you so much for inviting me into your life for a second time. I wish you good fortune and safe travels on your transition to Maryland.
