New life… The thought makes my heart smile. As a mother of three, I found those first weeks extra special (and crazy 🙂 As a family photographer, I am privileged to experience the novelty of newborn babies more often than others.
My dear friend Emeline, allowed me to step into their family for a few days after the birth of their third baby. Emeline wanted me to capture the amazing home birth but she is such a Rockstar! Baby Clay arrived in less than an hour. I was just too late and couldn’t believe what I saw. No jokes, Emeline is Ahhmazing at being a mom (and a long list of other things but Really!!)
A strong and healthy boy, Clay is such an adorable bundle. I loved how his siblings, interacted with him. They understand that he is fragile and they have to be gentle, but they are also very excited about their little brother.
Emeline and Alex, thank you so much for sharing these private moments with me. I am truly honored and blessed to experience the bliss of your newborn son.
