Van Blerk Family – from Dubai with Love

I’m always amazed by how and when my path tend to cross with the people from my past… I grew up with the three Van Blerk sisters in the beautiful town of Wellington, South Africa. All of us have gone on to conquer the world. I moved to San Francisco and our first boy was born. Carlien, the beautiful red head, loved seeing pictures of my little Juha on facebook and so we stayed in touch. Living in Dubai, Carlien and Marlon came to visit her family over the Christmas holiday. The girls wanted a family shoot during their vacation in the lovely little West Coast town of Paternoster. And there you go… I found myself on the sandy white beach of Paternoster, capturing loving moments of their family. The pictures speak for themselves, but there is nothing like the West Coast afternoon light, a beautiful family and holiday happiness to make photography magic. Special thanks to my assistant Wynand ☺
